This breakthrough is based on fundamental physics: nitrogen’s lower kinematic viscosity (1.51 E-5 m²/s compared to helium’s 11.40 E-5 m²/s) allows it to flow more easily through capillary channels, making leak detection significantly more effective.

Traditional helium-based mass spectrometry leak detection systems cost $35,000 or more and require expensive helium supplies that have become increasingly scarce and costly. Our valve leak detection system uses affordable industrial nitrogen cylinders (under $100) or even atmospheric air (which contains 79% nitrogen), making it accessible for manufacturers of all sizes.
